Can I get an Uber to your property?
While you can certainly get an Uber, Taxis are the main mode of transportation in and around Puerto Morelos. A Taxi from the airport is around $50, where a taxi to the airport is around $20. Taxis into town are less than 150 pesos (less than $10).
Is the area safe as it looks to be quite secluded?
While very secluded, the building is in a neighborhood with many other properties. You will park your car behind a locked gate and we have a caretaker that acts as your personal concierge and lives in a casita in the front.
Is it close to town?
We are 3.2 miles away from the center of town. As mentioned above, taxis into town are less than 150 pesos (less than $10). Currently we do not have bikes available, but there are several places in town you can rent for periods of time.
Is it close to the beach?
The property is oceanfront with a seawall that has a small sandy beach for laying out. There is also a perfect white sand beach within walking distance. The town of Puerto Morelos also has a huge beach where many of the tourists go.
Are there restaurants nearby?
The town of Puerto Morelos is less than 4 miles away and has many great restaurants and bars. Many of them will deliver straight to your door!
Are pets allowed?
Small pets are allowed and there is a small grassy area across the street for dog walking.
